FORSYTH COUNTY GOP TO HOLD DEBATE FOR RUN-OFF CANDIDATES

The Forsyth County Republican Party will conduct a debate between candidates in the August 10th Republican Primary runoff election. Debates for the Georgia District 9 Congressional seat and Georgia Attorney General position will be held on Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Forsyth County Administration Building, located at 110 East Main Street, Suite 220, Cumming, Georgia 30040. Doors to the auditorium will open at 6:00 pm, and the event will begin at 6:30 pm. 

District 9 Congressional candidates Tom Graves and Lee Hawkins have confirmed they will attend. Attorney General candidates Sam Olens and Preston Smith have also confirmed they will participate.

The format will be a true debate, as opposed to a forum, with questions being posed to each candidate, and opportunities for the candidates to respond to their opponent’s statements.
