About the Forsyth County Republican Party

Without a doubt, Forsyth County is one of the strongest Republican communities on the state of Georgia.  The people of Forsyth have entrusted Republicans with the stewardship of each elected county position, and polls from recent elections show the dominance of the Republican Party here in Forsyth. 

A Bright Future Ahead

In 2009, Ethan Underwood was elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Forsyth County.  Mr. Underwood  has laid out a positive vision for the Republican Party that will take our party into a new era of conservative leadership.

The exponential growth that the Republican Party has experienced in recent years has ushered in a new era of politics in Georgia. Republicans have emerged as the people's majority in Forsyth County and in Georgia providing not just an opportunity, but a responsibility to restore conservative leadership and values.
